Megan’s Bio
Megan Jones was a Director at Hadley Partners and focuses primarily on our media services and digital media practices. She also has significant experience with technology, gaming, networking/telecom and Internet-based companies.
Indeed, having grown up in and out of Silicon Valley (and with a high-tech industry dad) she is knowledgeable across a wide range of existing and emerging technologies and business models.
Megan has advised companies (both mature and earlier stage) since 1988. Her expertise includes mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, divestitures, strategic partnerships and capital raises. She has consulted for private equity and venture capital firms and hedge funds regarding potential investments. Clients have also included both public and private companies.
Megan’s investment banking experience includes previous postings at Lazard Freres’ middle market group, Needham & Company, Ernst and Young and Merrill Lynch. She also co-founded The Sage Group, a venture-backed investment banking boutique.
Megan earned her B.A. in finance and business administration from Pepperdine University, and her J.D. from Loyola Law School. She is a participant in the Coro Executive Education leadership program and a member of the State Bar of California. Ms. Jones lives in Santa Monica, California with her two children. Hobbies include yoga, travel, writing and reading.
She released a novel, Captive, in October 2010.
